Jaime P. McArtney-Wood

Jaime Paula McArtney-Wood 42 of Piscataway New Jersey passed on April 19th 2019. Jaime was born to James P. McArtney Jr and Susan McArtney, on November 8th 1976 in Red Bank, New Jersey. Jaime was a graduate of Mater Dei High School in 1995, she excelled in academics and athletics and made so many wonderful friends during her high school years. She went on to get her Bachelor of Arts Degree with a concentration in Graphic Design from Monmouth University. Jaime then went to work for Home Depot and Home Source Magazine as a Graphic Designer. She Married Adam Wood in 2018 and they lived together in Piscataway, New Jersey. Jaime has accomplished so many things in her life that have made us so proud. Her biggest accomplishment was her beautiful daughter, Skyelar Kaelan McArtney who is now 24. The love and pride she had for her child was deep and pure. She would often comment “it’s hard to believe I’ve created perfection.” She is survived by her loving husband, Adam Wood. Her daughter Skyelar Kaelan McArtney. Her loving parents James P. McArtney Jr. and Susan McArtney. Her childhood best friend and brother James P. McArtney III, his wife Kari McArtney and their two daughters Makala and Audrina. Sister, Michelle McArtney. Her God Mother and Aunt Kathy Pelose and Uncle Edward Shurley. Uncle Bill MacPherson and his daughter Heather MacPherson. Uncle Jeff and Aunt Phyllis Parliament. Aunt Pamala Parliament. Aunt Jeannie Seay. Cousins Gary Mastriano II and Nicole Kane and her God Daughter Kylie Kane, and Her Mother and Father-in-law Tom and Jodi Wood. She was preceded in death by her beloved Nani, Margaret Cerniglia and Grandmother Jean Seay. We all loved Jaime beyond measure, our hearts are broken but we know Jaime only wanted those she loved to live a happy life filled with love. Jaime’s love for her family and friends, was a gift from her soul. In honor of our beloved Jaime together as a family we will honor her deepest wish. Our family would like to extend our sincere heartfelt thanks for all the love, prayers, calls and texts, we’ve received over the past few days. It has meant the world to us. We hope you will join our family as we pay our last respects and celebrate our beloved Jaime’s life. A funeral will be held on Saturday, April 27th 2019 at 10:30am in St Mary’s Chapel in New Monmouth NJ Our family welcomes you to a repass after the services at the Middletown VFW, 1 Veterans Lane Highway
