Laura V. Mayer-Gorman Esrov, 77 of Keansburg, NJ, died November 11, 2013 in Bayside Manor. She was born October 28, 1936 in Bronx, NY, Daughter of the late Jerome and Pauline Mayer. Laura was a warm, loving, witty, intelligent person and her memories will live on with her passing. She was also predeceased by her husband Dr. David Esrov, her daughter Janice Mary and her sister Catherine Mayer. Surviving are her two sons John J. Gorman IV and his wife Tamra of Austin TX, Jerome Gorman and his wife Mary Joe of Farmingdale, NJ. Her grandchildren Ryleigh Gorman of Boulder, CO; John J. Gorman V (Cinco) of Austin, TX and Matthew Jerome Gorman of Farmingdale, NJ. A brother Charles H. Mayer of Florida and a nephew Jerome Steven Mayer of Leroy, NY. Private services were held at the Laurel Funeral Home 201 Laurel Avenue West Keansburg, NJ 07734. There will be a Memorial Gathering with family and friends at a later date at Yankee Stadium.
